APPOA 2019 Annual Meeting Scheduled For Monday, Jan. 28th @ 6pm

Attention APPOA Members:

The Ashland Plantation Property Owners Association’s Annual Meeting of the members will be held on Monday evening, January 28th, 2019 from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at Old St. Andrews Parish Church at 2604 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC  29414.

The purpose for conducting the Annual Meeting is to comply with the requirements of the Association’s By- Laws to conduct such meetings, for Board Member elections and for the Association Board to report on the status of the HOA for the year.  The Board of Directors’ seats are staggered terms. None of the current board seats are due to expire for 2019.

This will be a short business meeting per the planned agenda.  Members are encouraged to contact Community Management Group with questions, comments, and concerns any time of the year. Please keep in mind the meeting location is available to us for a limited time and we must wrap up by 7:30pm.

At the meeting, your Board of Directors will propose the current violation fine structure be renewed for 2019 at the upcoming annual meeting. Members present at the meeting will vote to determine if the policy will be renewed for 2019. At last year’s Special Meeting, the following motion was passed.

“A motion was made and seconded to renew the fines for violations at the current rate of $100 per day, up to a maximum of $10,000, in accordance with the standard violation procedures. The motion was voted on and passed.”

Please be sure to return your completed proxy even if you will be in attendance.  The Proxy is required so that a quorum can be established.  As an added convenience, you may submit your completed proxy online via email to AshlandPlantation@nullfsresidentialcharleston.com or submit your proxy online at: http://fsresidentialcharleston.com/appoa-2019-online-proxy/.  Proxies must be submitted by 5:00pm on Friday, January 25th. Unfortunately, proxies cannot be accepted at the meeting.
