Landscaping and Rain
Landscaping During Rains and Storm Season
Due to the recent rains, landscaping maintenance may be effected. Mowing, chemical applications, irrigation, and accelerated plant growth including weeds, are some of the effects of these rains.
Rains have an effect on the overall look of the community. Periods of rain and sun are optimal for weed growth. These periods may cause weeds to have accelerated visible growth in just a single day. This growth may make it seem if they haven’t been properly cut, but it is due to optimal growth conditions.
Rains create a slippery hard to work surface in the community. If mowers run over these areas it could destroy the grass. Beyond that it is unsafe for workers to use machines in some cases. Safety is important not only for residents but for the workers on the grounds as well.
The landscaping companies know that the work will have to be made up and are required to do so. Please be patient during the rains and the upcoming storm season.
